Great Day

Yesterday we celebrated the paying off of our church building! What a great day, we had a wonderful turn out of church family and the community. Had more than enough food and activities, so that we were all worn out by the end of the day.
Can't say thanks enough to the volunteers that made it happen. Thanks guys!
Talked about the endurance and refusal of Caleb to forget the promises of God concerning the promise land.
45 years after the promise he still had a passion to receive what God said was his.

Jos 14:7  I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh Barneato spy out the land, and I brought back word to him as it was in my heart.

Jos 14:8  Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people melt, but I wholly followed the LORD my God.

Jos 14:9  So Moses swore on that day, saying, 'Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children's forever, because you have wholly followed the LORD my God.'

Jos14:10  And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the LORD spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.

Jos14:11  As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both forgoing out and for coming in.

Jos14:12  Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the LORD said."

Never lose sight of the PROMISE, it may be the Lord is getting ready to give  it!

Every day is indeed a great day. We woke up again and have the opportunity to continue life with our family and love ones, for me it is a great day. I am always thankful with my every day because though life is very hard, I always think that maybe because I have my purpose that’s why I have another day again. Everyone should be grateful because you have another day to live. Live the moment and make the best out of it.
