Been awhile since I've made any post here, really sorry about that just been extremely busy lately. Which brings me to my subject. I love to eat; in fact it is one of my favorite things to do. Not gorging myself for the sake of eating, but enjoying good food with family and friends, oh yeah! I've been blessed to be born and raised in South Louisiana, where great food is in abundance. My Northern friends know what I'm talking about. Anyway. I was thinking about how at times I long for and crave for certain foods. How I won't be satisfied until I have it, and I won't stop until that craving has been filled. Crab, oysters, red fish, shrimp...You get the idea. Man I gotta stop! Moving on now...
What if we got so hungry for God that we wouldn't stop until were satisfied.
Look at what David said in the wilderness of Judah.
Psa. 63:1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirst for you; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.
How long has it been since you were desperate for the presence of God in your life? Have you grown tired of this dry and thirsty land we live in? Then I encourage you to drink from the well that never runs dry, eat from the table that will truly satisfy the hunger of our souls.
Want to fatten you up! Just saying...
